Cuba 1994 Harley Davison
Those photographs was taken in cuba in 1994 as a photographic support for a french television program about Harley Davison's motorcyclists in Cuba and their environment on the island during the so-called special period "(Periodo Especial"). Cuba's special period in peacetime was a long period of economic crisis that began as result of the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. there was tremendous poverty, and scarcity despite all these adversities they were very kind, gentle and caring people. They kept their motorcycles running in the most ingenious ways and resorting using soviets auto parts and spare parts sent by their relatives from Miami in the United States. The motorcycles were all from the period before the Cuban revolution in 1959.
