Doors & Windows from Chile
These photographs were taken as part of a personal project that culminated in a photographic exhibition in Santiago de Chile and Walsrode, Germany in 2017. The images were captured during my work for mining companies, foundations, hotels, and trips around the country. I have continued to photograph these objects, expanding the archive of images on this theme. I have always been struck by the painterly quality, the textures of the design, the materiality, and the simplicity of these everyday elements. Framed and crafted from the materials found in each region, they bear witness to the passage of time and the power of the elements.
